It's really quite simple - we like to see it as a creative partnership between client and maker.
Since we are a custom furniture design shop, each piece is made to unique specification. A dialogue is started with the client and from dream to delivery we ensure individual needs and desires are catered to. Custom ordered pieces are priced according to the type, quality and scarcity of the materials, in addition to the size, base and finishing requested.
Working with you, we outline design, style, wood selection and finishing options. An indication of budget is useful. Once the design is finalized a quote is given. A deposit of at least 50% is required to secure the contract and get your piece into the workflow.
Pieces are completed in 6-8 weeks, but can be rushed for an additional fee. Having said that, most pieces are done sooner and we're happy to work with you to meet your timeline if at all possible. Ordering and receiving a dining room table one week before Thanksgiving would be a small miracle....and we've even done that (although prefer not to).
Upon completion, a delivery date will be arranged at a time to suit you. The piece will be assembled and positioned for you. Any installation work will be billed separately. We use an insured and bonded team of professional furniture movers to ensure your piece arrives in perfect condition.
Delivery outside of the local area can be arranged via freight, and can be quoted upon request. We ship all over the country.
