We clean up well... 

All of the wood used at California Wood Studios is milled, dried, carefully designed with respect for the woods natural beauty, expertly hand crafted and finely finished.    Each piece of furniture is as unique as the tree it came from and the client that ordered it.    The combinations and results are endless.....sometimes it's elemental and elegant, sometimes its urban and sophisticated, sometimes it earthy and a little bit rough and sometimes it's just plain sexy.

We love beauty and form, but we are also very practical.  All of our furniture is made to be lived with.  While we don't always know exactly how a piece will be treated in a home, office, shop or restaurant after we deliver it, we're fairly certain there have actually been dance parties on top of more than one of our large slab tables and they are just as good as new.   

California Wood Studios' shop is located in South SanFrancisco, and is the hub for all of the work that is created.   It is a collaboration of great creative welders, sawyers, suppliers and delivery people.  It takes a village, and we think we have a pretty great one!
